I coordinate the Graduate Attributes project at the University of the Free State through project-, data-, and people management as well as relationship-building with lecturers and co-curricular colleagues about the development of graduate attributes through their modules, departments and programmes. We manage the graduate attributes organisation for staff on our learning management system with content that is relevant, high-quality resources and user friendliness. We support lecturers to map against the each UFS graduate attributes and its criteria in order to take stock of the extent to which they develop the attributes and make informed decisions around curriculum design in order to better develop the attributes, where deemed necessary. My professional interests include further research on best practice in graduate attribute development in higher education as well as sustainable ways/tools to approach such projects as they usually take place at scale.
