Dr Hennades T Tabe holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Following this, I earned an Honours degree (B.Ed. Hons) in Educational Management Laws and Systems from North-West University (NWU), South Africa. I then pursued a master’s degree in education management (MEd) at NWU, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education Management. Currently, I am in my third year of Postdoctoral Research Fellowship with the South African Research Chair (SARCHI) in Teaching and Learning at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
With over 13 years of experience in Higher Education, I have served in various roles, including a contract lecturer for over three years, a research assistant for three years, and an academic writing consultant at the Academic Development Centre (ADC) for four years. I also contribute to teacher preparation and development as a Teaching Practice Supervisor at NWU and the University of South Africa (UNISA) respectively. My multidisciplinary research interests span both secondary and higher education, focusing on teaching and learning, history education, educational access and success, higher education transformation. I have published in national and international journals, reviewed articles, and book chapters. Additionally, I am a member of SAERA and the Golden Key International Honours Society.
