Dr Lynne Damons

Dr Lynne Damons is an Educational Psychologist and Lecturer at Stellenbosch University. Her career spans over two decades of dedicated service in education and psychology. Social justice is at the core of her work, especially in supporting vulnerable children, women, and communities in South Africa.

As an advocate for inclusive education, Dr Damons employs innovative strategies to transform teaching and learning experiences for marginalised communities. She also pushes the boundaries of educational psychology through her research, teaching, and community engagement. Her mission is to inspire upcoming practitioners to embody empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a solid commitment to social justice in their work.  This holistic approach enhances individual well-being and contributes to developing new professional identities among her students and clients.
