Isabella Senyatsi

Isabella Nwalukazi Khutso Senyatsi. I am an academic literacy lecturer in the Department of Physiology and Environmental Health at the University of Limpopo. My research interests are Applied language studies and the scholarship of teaching and learning.  My aspirations as the ULWASA chairperson are to make ULWASA relevant to its members across professional levels through our activities. My most recent achievement was being selected as one of the SANORD CDS Grant recipient thus chairing my very first session during 14th SANORD International conference. Ms. Senyatsi is a specialised Generative artificial intelligence academic curriculum advisor, and she is a former editor and translator for the South African Translators Institute. She is also a doctoral scholar and has supervised 5 honours students, 1 master’s and mentored 1 doctoral, 3 master’s and 2 honours students in language education. Ms Senyatsi completed a supervision certificate from Rhodes University and is finalising her last module in PgDHET from the Fort Hare University. She is also a nominee for the 2024 annual Vice Chancellors Awards in Teaching and Learning at the University of Limpopo. Ms. Senyatsi is a proud mother of two boys.
