Nosipho Nkwinti is a South African emerging researcher and community engagement professional with a Master of Education from Rhodes University. She plays a role in coordinating Community-University Partnerships, where she focuses on fostering mutually beneficial relationships between students, staff, and community-based organizations in Makhanda and the broader Eastern Cape region.
Nosi's work involves facilitating the formation and development of these partnerships, as well as overseeing community partner training and development programs for organizations that have formal agreements with the Rhodes University Community Engagement (RUCE) office. Her commitment to community development is further reflected in her role as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Joza Youth Hub committee, vice-president of Amanzi2School Organization, and Deputy Chairperson of the District Education Forum.
Nosi is passionate about empowering youth and finding innovative ways to improve the quality of life in marginalized communities across South Africa. Her work is deeply rooted in respecting and uplifting Indigenous knowledge systems and practices, ensuring that community development efforts are both ethical and sustainable.
