Patricia Helen Khwambala is an electrical engineer by professional, with a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cape town. She is now pursuing a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical at Nelson Mandela University.
Patricia has 27 years of work experience of which 9 years has been in academic. The 18years of her industrial experience has exposed her working as a Telecommunication Engineer at a national radio and television broadcasting station, Control Engineering Manager, at a national power generation station, Electrical Engineering consultant for various projects like wastewater management plants, Building Management Systems, Designing and implementation of Data centres from inception to handover, just to mention but a few.
Patricia is currently a lecturer in Mechatronics department at Nelson Mandela University. Besides lecturing and administration, she has passion in researching about Scholarship of learning in engineering fields.
