Riette Kotze

Riëtte is a Senior Lecturer at Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, South Africa. She earned her master’s degree in architecture from Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria. After 18 years in architectural practice, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a full-time lecturer in architecture in 2023.

Currently, Riëtte serves as the co-promoter for final-year master's degree students and lectures in Advanced Construction and Professional Practice modules. Her research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Education for Sustainable Development, and Regenerative Architecture.
