Abby Lemmer

Abby is a dedicated master's student in Applied Linguistics, with a research focus on supporting non-verbal autistic children by analyzing their linguistic competencies to develop effective speech interventions. Her work aims to identify optimal treatment methods to enhance communication abilities. Alongside her academic pursuits, Abby serves as a research assistant for the Humanising Pedagogy Project at Nelson Mandela University, with research that focuses on integrating artificial intelligence in education while upholding principles of humanizing pedagogy.

 

In addition, Abby works as a corporate language trainer and language specialist for a prominent German company. With a deep passion for teaching and linguistics, she is committed to advancing both academic research and practical applications in the field of language development and education.
